Vadim Zhukov is one of those anomalies in electronic music; a producer with great talent and a little selfishness that gets in the way. From melodic trance to minimalist percussive club sounds to dizzying techno-tinged soundscapes, his sound is constantly evolving, ignoring his contemporaries.
Hailing from Nizhnevartovsk, Russia, he was catapulted into the Russian trance spotlight at the age of 18 with the release of "Silver Star" - Above & Beyond made him their "unsung hero" on their weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound radio. Since then, Vadim has recorded many releases for labels such as Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, Sony Germany and many more. He has become one of the best DJs in Russia, touring extensively, headlining major festivals and club nights alongside world superstars of the electronic scene.
His early tracks and remixes were played by all the major progressive trance DJs of the 2000s - Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyck, Above and Beyond, John 00 Fleming and Markus Schultz.
